The Yoshino Spirits Co has released its Umiki Whisky, which they state is a premium blended whisky from Japan
They point out that the Ocean is a source of life, and the Pine-tree is a symbol of life in Japan. Inspired by Japan’s respect for nature and the ocean, they have blended local ocean-side malt whiskeys with grain whiskeys from the rest of the world before blending with pure filtered ocean water and finishing the blend in Japanese pine barrels.
